WASSA! WASSA! AFRICA DANCE & DRUM Fête showcases incredible artists from the African continent that reflect the multitude of African artistic expressions.
WASSA! WASSA! Africa Drum & Dance Fête culminates with an invitation to join an Atsia circle, where everyone is invited to dance in a drum circle. An Atsia circle - originates from the Ewe people of Ghana. In Guinea it is called a Dunumba circle. In every African country the community gathers and dances, sings and makes music collectively to celebrate life.
